- Increase awareness of the need for quality childcare among cancer patients and the benefits of developing accessible, affordable childcare resources for this population.
- Support emotional needs of children who may feel emotions i.e. isolation, confusion, sadness.
- Reduce mothers’ likelihood of experiencing anxiety and depression.
- Increase mothers’ time to rest and relax during the course of treatment.
